SCHOOL AND GROUP TOURS

Schools and other groups may schedule a tour of any exhibition, free of charge, with a specially trained Museum guide. Please email Jamal Cyrus or call 713 284 8274 at least 10 days in advance of your visit.

AT THE MUSEUM

Family Guides are designed for children of all ages, and provide opportunities for exploration, discovery, and conversation about the art on view. The guides are available for free at the Museum front desk. La Guia para Familias tambien está disponible en Español.

Our FAQ Team (Frequently Asked Questions team) is available on Saturdays (1PM & 3PM) free of charge to lead guided tours, answer questions about our exhibitions and contemporary art in general. The FAQ Team is a group of artists and historians who assist with contextualizing CAMH’s dynamic exhibitions for diverse audiences.

Located within a 1.5 mile radius of the Mecom Fountain, Houston's Museum District includes not only CAMH but the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, The Menil Collection, the Houston Zoo, Lawndale Art Center, and many, many more. The Museum is closed every Monday, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
